Hot Spring OEM High-limit thermistor plugs into the motherboard, which is inside the IQ 2000 Box. If water temperature of spa reaches 46 degrees Celcius or over, this sensor will shut heater down in order to prevent damage or injury.

79005 replaces older style #39204 sensor.

Comes with replacement O-ring for seal.

Hot Spring Hot Tub in Protection Mode?

  1. Try a hard reset. Switch the power off, wait 2 minutes then switch back on. 
  2. If the above does not work, suggests an issue with the Hi-Limit Sensor.

Hot Spring Hot Tub Stuck on 10 degrees and won't heat

  1. Try a hard reset. Switch the power off, wait 2 minutes then switch back on. 
  2. If the above does not work, suggests an issue with the Hi-Limit Sensor.

Hot Spring Hot Tub Ready and Power Lights Flashing

  1. Check the screen for further diagnostics, may suggest one of the above issues?
  2. Try a hard reset. Switch the power off, wait 2 minutes then switch back on. 
  3. If the above does not work, suggests an issue with the Hi-Limit Sensor.
